Ingredients 3 - in the name of love

Alright! A new MIX!!!

Again, multiple exclamation points were necessary.

For the record, I've had that post sitting around as a draft since freaking September 30. And if you noticed and/or you're wondering, it's MIX 5 because yes, I do have another one that I started on September 17 and still haven't finished.

Also, I'd like to mention that I when I started writing this one, it was before we had gone over points-of-view in class. GO ME! I CAN EXPERIMENT WITH HAVING MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES BEFORE WE EVEN MENTION THEM!!!

...because that's totally something to brag about, like writing a multi-perspective story is impossible unless we discuss it first.

I digress. Back to the original premise of what an INGREDIENTS post should be, let me tell you all about how and why I wrote this story. I wanted a medieval story. So I made a title I could use. Then I wrote the story around that.

...yeah, there's reasons that took a month and a half to finally finish. Planning? What? If I remember correctly, I started writing it close to 11:00 at night, which (if you've read this post) you should know is bad news.

Admittedly, I thought it was fun to play around with points-of-view, which is probably part of the reason I didn't just scrap the whole thing. If you haven't been able to tell from reading my blog, I like analyzing people, so the more characters I get to analyze, the more fun it is for me to write. The real treat was writing a stream of consciousness for the main character, since I had to not only figure out how thoughts play out, but also figure out how I could properly fit a story into those thoughts.

Anyway, at some point I should finish up MIX 4, so I'm gonna stop writing this here and maybe but probably not go work on that.
